Why would you want to update normal OS to glitchy one?

Because you've been spamming the internet with your blog post that slams openSUSE 11.4 for silly, trivial reasons and every other review lauds the speed and functionality improvements?

Because 11.3 is even worse! Sooo many bugs... I'm hoping that the update will fix a few of them.

I have installed OpenSUSE 11.3 on my vps (this is the only version in the control panel of my provider). Now i wanted to upgrade 11.3 to 11.4 and finally to 12.1. I followed the above instructies and after i run zypper dup it goes wrong:

Installing: filesystem-11.4-11.14.1 [error]
Installation of filesystem-11.4-11.14.1 failed:
(with --nodeps --force) Error: Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: unpacking of archive failed on file /proc: cpio: chown failed - Permission denied

How to solve this?
