Hello.How is it possible to stream with https://my. domain.com/8000 ?
thx for help
First register a domain or subdomain. Here the ssl part: https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/using-stunnel-to-add-ssl-to-shoutcast-in-ovh-vps-help/35266/2
Works great! Thanks.
Is there an easy way to have shoutcast start automatically on server reboot?
Nice guide. Thank you.
For people who are interested in securing their shoutcast stream, I advice to use stunnel (apt install stunnel) and create config file: /etc/stunnel/stunnel.conf and put the following in it:
client=no[shoutcast]accept=8002connect=localhost:8000cert = /etc/stunnel/stunnel.pem
Now when you open your server's address with https: on port 8002 you will have a secured site and stream. Mind youthat you need to create the stunnel.pem file yourself first. What I did is combine letsencrypt certificates in to one file like this:
1. rsa key 2. certificate3. cabundle/intermediate
Good luck!
Doesn't work anymore. I keep getting 403 forbidden error.
Can i do audio live stream with shoutcast?
Everything OK. I even broadcasted with RadioBoss.How to I listen to the broadcast??? Is there any player, preferably web player so it's universal?
Works great only if i use port 8000. I change my port to 8080 but it keeps saying that the port is in use. I check everything and nothing is using that port. Can you please help me out ?
