the package 'icingaweb2-module-monitoring' have to be installed: apt-get install icinga2 monitoring-plugins icingaweb2-module-monitoring without this, the module 'Monitoring' is missing and can't be selected during the setup, this means: no configured backend and no services

Basically a good tutorial. However

a) the screenshots are almost unreadable.

b) One enters a lot of stuff without really knowing why. For example, one enters passwords and in some later steps they are not accepted (I dod NOT mistype them).

c) I ended up that I cannot login to Icinga2.

d) There should some detailed explanations abot the menus one fills in.

e) And there should be a sohisticated and full and working example. Even the (sample) passwords should be shown in order to fully understand ech of the steps.

f) Deploying your tutorial twice was a waste of time.

I'm able to read the screenshots in the guide perfectly fine. But you can even get a much bigger version of the screenshots by clicking on them.
