By default, I will install everything at /home/falko/.ies4linux
I will also install Flash 9 plugin and create Desktop shortcuts.

Hello, as a web developer creating pages that are displayed accurately in the various render engines available is a tedious job. Furthermore not all browsers are present on GNU/Linux which is my favorite OS. I just managed to bring up on Linux:

I get this when I try to install ies4linux:

Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.18.3/gtk/gtktextview.c:3535:gtk_text_view_validate_onscreen: assertion failed: (text_view->onscreen_validated)
ui/pygtk/python-gtk.sh: line 6:  2794 Aborted                 python "$IES4LINUX"/ui/pygtk/ies4linux-gtk.py

 Can anyone help?

Thanks!

You can try this: ./ies4linux --no-gui

The above mentioned commands worked but I run into a issue.  After launching IE, it automatically closes after few seconds.  Any solution for this.  Advance thanks.

Nice tutorial. Thank you.

 Although there's a step that for me it's important to proceed with the instalation.

When the window "configurando ttf-mscorefonts-installer" apears it's necessary to go to the end of page and press tab until <OK> turns red, then just press enter to proceed.
