Managing A Headless VirtualBox Installation With phpvirtualbox On nginx (Ubuntu 12.04) - Page 2

There's a little bug in the Create New Virtual Machine wizard I encountered in phpvirtualbox 4.1-8 (it works fine with phpvirtualbox 4.1-7, so I can't say whether this is a problem with 4.1-8 or nginx; I haven't tested 4.1-8 on Apache yet) - when you choose to create a new hard disk...

... and follow the Create New Virtual Disk wizard...

... step...

... by step...

... you should be forwarded to the Summary at the end, but instead you are forwarded to the screen again where you are asked if you want to create a new hard disk or use an existing one. Because we've just created a new disk, we select Use existing hard disk this time and click on the folder icon...

... to select the hard disk image from the server's hard drive:

Afterwards, click on Next...

... and if everything goes well, you should finally see the Summary:

In the end you have a new VM. Click on the Start button to run that VM:

Even though phpvirtualbox is a web front-end, you still get the VM console that you know from the VirtualBox GUI - pretty cool:
