This no longer works, installing TikiWiki under Ubuntu 20.4 is broken in multiple ways.It first breaks at the Database Connection, but composer is also broken.
Dear David Albert, sorry for the late reply. I'm one of the admins of the Tiki project, and the main maintainer of the Ubuntu install official doc page at doc.t.o. (see link below).
Can you please provide some feedback about the official documentation to install Tiki (LTS) on Ubuntu (LTS)?
It's here:
https://doc.tiki.org/Ubuntu+Install
I confirm that havinng Tiki running as usual in recent Ubuntu versions (such as 20.04 LTS and some earlier STS) became bumpy (way more "fun" than before), but It's working. I offer to check and update whatever is needed in the offficial documentation of Tiki to keep it updated.
And Muhammad Arul, thank your for your tutorial, looks awesome, and I'd like to try it too when I have a chance in the next summer weeks, so that I can confrm whether some of your steps are required / updated with current state of the start ubuntu packages (mysql root by default seems not to use the same passs schema as before, etc). You may miss some rules in the apache conf file if the user attempts to login temporarily without https, etc. And I'm not sure if "ufw" is enabled by default (maybe yes, I dont remember, I have to try again in a brand new server). Thanks anyway for the work you have done so far, it's always good to see/get other approaches to get things done.
