I have questions on this tutorial.

- SMTP config part is not complete.

- Upgrading Gitlab, you are removing the container. You should explain where is the data. This might be confusing to new comers.

With your tutorial I can create a GitLab 12.4.1 on my server. Without Docker it's impossible, the official GitLab CE versions are unreachable below version 13.1.
