Very clear tutorial.. but I wasnt able to change the system language from System Admin --> Language Settings, or even Preferences --> Personal Language. Actually nothing worked, although I have spanish, arabic chinese, etc.. ALL INSTALLED, but whatever I pick it shows "Your request was completed successfully." with nothing changing :-(Please advise as it's a major issue here.

Brilliant and it just Worked .. just a couple of points for copy and paste (my first try)

<<Directory "/var/www/html/gibbon/"> should be <Directory "/var/www/html/gibbon/">Remove the MariaDB [(none)]> from the Maria Commands

Great installation guide!

Thanks for all

I also had the same problem with the language change, but when I searched the network I found an entry in the gibbon forum where the answer to the change of language to work is, the link is:

Thank you for this, one thing though. On our network, the IP addresses are of the type 10.20.4X.XXX.

What do I need to change in the setup?

Many thanks...
