Thanx for this howto,
But Asterisk is already in debian, in stable, wheezy-backports, jessie and sid.
May its also handy to show this here.
on a wheezy system and you want Asterisk, you can do.
debian wheezy: apt-get install asterisk (1.8.13.1)
Add the wheezy-backports for this one:
wheezy-backports: apt-get install -t wheezy-backports asterisk ( 11.13.0 )
and lastest version from sid... (13.0.0)
Add the sid sources.
apt-get build-dep asteriks
apt-get source asteriks -b
dpkg -i ... the debs. or add the "dir" to your apt sources.
and install with apt-get.
Pro of this is, when you upgrade from wheezy to jessie or later on the new testing/sid
its al already in Debian, so upgradeing is much easier.
This post was helpfull for me,now i look on how to configure voicemail to email on asterisk.
Could someone provide a link on how to make it please.
Thanks!
