Disable Sending does not work.  Or at least it doesn't work for a user who is using RoundCube, which was set up to work originally using one of your How-To's.  So, I'm going to be setting up a new server soon, so getting the checkbox to work, isn't super important.  What is, is that I'd like to make it so that NO user can use web mail (RoundCube in this case) to send mail.  I want web mail users to only be able to receive mail, but not send it.  The same user might have a Thunderbird client setup in an IMAP config, and they need to be able to send mail from Thunderbird, but not from within RoundCube.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Brent

RoundCube, as a locally installed server application, sends through localhost by default. This means that disable sending can have no effect. But you can configure RoundCube in its config file to send authenticated using the login details used for RoundCube login, and then disable sending limitation should work. So it's a question how you configure RoundCube if this limit gets applied or not. If you need further help, please post in the ISPConfig support forum.

Ok, thanks Till.  Since I'm not sure how to "configure RoundCube in its config file to send authenticated using the login details used for RoundCube login, then the disable sending limitation should work".  I will do as you requested, and post this as a question in the support forum.

I just want to say to you and others who authored and keep alive ISPConfig.  It's a great web control panel for sites, email, etc. and I can't imagine a world without it.  I've been using for number of years, and have paid to have the manual at least once, maybe more.  But if you guys had a donation button, I'd probably use it way more regularly to support this project.  You guys are the best, keep up the wonderful work !
