Installing compilation tools in a production environment poses security risks. Not to say the maintenance hassle when you want to upgrade either NGINX or PageSpeed module.

 

Install PageSpeed module and stable NGINX from RPM repository in 2 easy commands, instead of compilation and maintenance nightmware described here.
