Does upgrading Ubuntu using this desktop method automatically and in place changes your GRUB boot menu to indicate the new Ubuntu if you have U and various Windows versions set up with it? And does the new boot menu keep the entries to the Windows versions?
thanks
Please note.
If you have software raid, on your system disk or storage disk, then you might be in trubble, following the "normal" upgrade!
If you google: " software raid ubuntu 8.10 9.04 upgrade"
You will find severel reports, regarding problems with "mdadm".
