Comments on How to install Moodle 3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04

In this tutorial, I will guide you how to build your own learning center with moodle. We will install and configure Moodle on a Nginx web server, MySQL database, and PHP-FPM7. For the operating system, we will use Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus). Moodle is an open source learning management system software to help educators and teachers to create online courses.

It's about your MySQL error.

Sometime about the MySQL Sock file, or you can check the database privileges.

I already have SSL certificates (a wildcard one signed by Geotrust) and when moodle starts it doensnt load all the scripots (css, javascript). It alsol shows 'Not secure' and it can be seen on yout last screenshots. Any solution to that? The same certificate + decripted key was used to run Rocket.chat and Grafana without problems.
