HI. First of all thank you for your precise and detailed post. Unfortunately I have to say that once I got to the end as a result I had this:

Failed to 'STAT ': (0x7ffe35a235c0) CONNECTION FAILURE, host: 127.0.0.1:11211 -> ./src/libmemcached/version.cc:40

What can it be?

Believe me, I followed every line of yours step by step.

If you can help me I would be grateful.
