Enabling Compiz Fusion On Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) This tutorial shows how you can enable Compiz Fusion on an Ubuntu Linux 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) Unity desktop (the system must have a 3D-capable graphics card - I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce 8200 here). With Compiz Fusion you can use beautiful 3D effects like wobbly windows or a desktop cube on your desktop.

Compiz-fusion is now referred to as "Compiz".  The compiz-fusion link even redirects to compiz.com.  It is enabled by default in Ubuntu 11.10.  CCSM is the front end configuration tool for Compiz.  This article discusses how to enable the Nvidia proprietary driver and configure Compiz via the CCSM.  The headline and article language should be corrected to better reflect this.
