Note that if your desktop environment has a way to show menu items at the shell level, they are NOT included in the main app menus. For me on gnome3 (Fedora Linux) this meant the Edit menu in the app didn't have the Preferences item, it is in the "Meld" application button in the Gnome control bar at the top of the screen. Took me a day or two to find that! :) The 'missing' menu item was even raised as a 'bug' https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1140883
Is there a GUI way to copy only one line when that one line is grouped with other lines as being changed? You can obviously copy-and-paste, but I use BeyondCompare's short key for copying single lines all the time.
