Comments on A beginner's guide to comparing files using visual diff/merge tool Meld on Linux

Now that we've covered some command line-based diff/merge tools in Linux, it'd be logical to explain some visual diff/merge tools available for the OS as well. Reason being, not everybody is used-to the command line, and/or command-line based comparison tools could be more difficult to learn and understand for some.

It still hasn't got a word wrap feature, so when comparing 2 files with really long lines (1,000+ characters), you have to horizontally scroll for ages to see what the differences are! Geez!

I have meld installed on Windows and it does have a word wrap option. It is a great piece of software.

I came here to learn about 3-way comparisons. I'm confused as to how to smoothly insert my local changes into a new version of a repo, from an older version.
