Hello,

First of all, nice instructions.

 

I want to use Vanilla as an internal forum at my workplace. I followed all your instructions, exept the certificats. Therefore I deleted the certification related Lines in the config file in vanilla.conf. I replaced the example.com with servername.companydomain.com but I can only reach the default nginx Page via the servers IP address.

What did I do wrong, why cant I reach the configuration screen of vanilla?

And what do you mean with "Navigate to the folder where you uploaded Vanilla in your web browser and follow the instructions on the screen." 

Im sorry if im asking stupid questinons, but its my first time ever setting up a web server.
