For the most part, this guide is good. All the way up to installing DokuWiki:
Installing DokuWiki using the instructions put the dokuwiki directory into /var/www but this location did not work for me. I had to move the dokuwiki directory to /var/www/html . Also, while solving that, dicovered that to access the wiki in the web browser was //servername.local/dokuwiki
not the //wiki.servername.local nor //www.servername.local
Also, the instructions for SSL/TLS certificates, is questionable. I used the following from the instructions, except changing the wiki.howtoforge.local to my domain: www.minitytest.local:
sudo certbot --apache --agree-tos --redirect --hsts --staple-ocsp --email [email protected] -d www.minitytest.local
I got an error: Domain name does not end with a valid public suffix (TLD)". So those instructions are useless. Had to go out and find other instructions for creating my own certs.
But otherwise, the instructions got me started.
