Etherpad has built-in support for SSL. Do you still recommend ngnix?
Hi, thanks for all the info.
I want to install this on a server where I already have a website running. If I install this will it overwrite my existing site? (I setup a separate etherpad folder). The reason I ask is it says you have to enter the URL: http://127.0.0.1:9001 but I was expecting it to be http://127.0.0.1:9001/etherpad
Please can someone confirm this will not mess up my existing website which is in the root directory? Or maybe someone can enlighten me please? Maybe the port is automatically forwarded to the etherpad folder?
Thanks in advance for clarifying.
