    Hi there,

I am former Gentoo user and fan of qmail+vpopmail+mysql but recently I decided to try Ubuntu with Postfix
and ISPConfig and I am experiencing some problems :) Basically everything is working instead of pop3 login ...
First problem is that pop3 is forcing ntlm authorization which is ok but I want to have possibility to use plain login aswell.

But the major issue is that I can't download emails.
Strange thing is they are actually delivered to server, I can read them via console in user dir
but don't know why my email client can't see them (i've tried thebat, thunderbird, oe and sylpheed).
With the same user I can send emails to other domains (ie. gmail) but I can't download emails?
Imo problem is with maildir and courier, right know it's:

which for me seems to be ok, but if it that isn't a case
    why I can't download emails?
Also I can't login by webmail and I think those problems
    are related?

Another question I've got, I prefer to have secure dns, so I want
to use allow recursion option in named.conf.
But every single time I'm changing dns settings in ISPConf
allow recursion is removed...How can I hardcode this one?

    any help appreciated

    MailDir is On in ISPConfig

I've managed to solve issue with roundcube, so now I can log in thru webmail and I can see all my emails
but still cant see them using email client.

Solved. Changed auth method from ntlm to plain.

Which pop3 daemon do you have installed? Did you follow one of the perfect setup guides to setup your system?

so no clue how to prohibit ISPConfig from removing "allow recursion" option
    in my named.conf?
