You need to create the sites from the control panel. Only type the domain name, no subdomain such as www etc, this will be added when you select * in the subdomain.

The, create an ftp account for the site.

When you log in through the ftp accout it will usually dump you in yourhome directory. Navagate to /web.

In reality this has created a directory on your server similar to:
If you're asking how to you view your new site then the answer is your browser must know where to find it.

You will need to let the browser know through dns records on what ip to find the site. You can't simply type the ip into the browser though as you server has virtual hosts ie more than one site served under this single ip.

You must create dns records either on your server or with the domain registrar with an A record that points to the ip of your server. That was when your browser sends the site header details with it's request to that server, the server will answer with the correct site.

Alternatively, you can edit the local hosts file on your browser so it know to go that ip and request the website regardless of any dns records. But of course that means only your browser will get the site.

Thats the server hostname and not a website. Websites have to be added in ispconfig. Please do what Toucan suggested.
