I have been using "How To Set Up WebDAV With Apache2 On Ubuntu 9.04" (actually installing on Linux Mint 10), and when I get to step 5, testing WebDAV, I get the error:

    "[email protected]:~#" cadaver http://localhost/webdav/
Could not connect to `localhost' on port 80:
Could not connect to server: Connection refused
    dav:/webdav/? quit

I don't know where to go from here, I don't know why the connection would be refused. Is there a way to specify another port? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John

Apache isn't running. Please start it:
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/apache2 start
