I have been exploring the use of webalizer and awstats via ISPConfig.

I found out how to see my stats. On the web stats page, click on the website for which I want the stats.

But, when I open the new window, it asks for name and password.

How and where do I get/define these? I see nothign pertaining to this in ISPConfig, nor does it mention weblaizer/awstats in any documentation on where to find it an dhwo to configure it.

As well, the one website that I did get to work, it uses webalizer. How do I get AWSTATS?

Last questions: If I want to tell webalizer to NOT present records dealing with a specific directory and all subdirectory. How can I do this?

There is a "stats" tab in website settings where you can set the password and the stats mode.

    Thanks Croydon

I was able to find the area and assign the password with success.

Now that I can see them, now I see that there is a couple of directories that I often use for internal uses the company, and this skews the results.

    I have website:

I use a software tool hosted on the same server. It is located in:

But, since i use this tool often, webalizer show LOTS and LOTS of activity and 9 out of 10 visits is in this directory.

It skews the results and I do not see the visits to my website from the public visiting my companies website because my own visits and other employee visits are in such high numbers that other visits are overshadowed.

Is there are config area in webalizer (I will look at AWSTATS later) to NOT display results for a given directory (and all sub-directories)?

I just know that webalizer can exclude file types. I have no idea if you are able to exclude paths.
