Why I can't set up web space limit in the act of creating client's site? There is no such field for admin in client-templates. Same problem is with a field for site aliases and others. Moreover I'm worried, that client after login see it and can set value for it. How You secured ISPConfig 3 for clients, that they can't spoil all the configuration and limits ?

If a website has been added by the admin user, clients can not change its limits. Clients can only chnage limits if the website was created by the client itself and not a admin user.

Ok, but what with fields? Why I can't see it in clients template?

if you want your client to have more than one website with different quotas, a template would make no sense.

you create your client with the client specific quotas from the client template, and attach them the website with the website specific quota from the website template

Where is such thing as "website template" ? I see client template, but it's limit fields are only connected with e-mails, aliases, dns records, ftp accounts etc. It would be nice if I could specify web quota limit from a template, now I have to add site from template and then by hand change limit in tab Sites.

I want make everything easier and more automated as it was in ISPConfig 2. Now admin/reseller have to add client account and fill in by hand other values in other tabs (modules accessable by this user, php type, auto-subdomain, DNS records ) ... I omit such thing as FTP / MySQL / E-mails accounts which can be created by user.

To sum up, perfect way to create sites by admin for client would be:
    1. create client accounts
    2. choose template (e.g. silver / gold / platinum) with EVERY values and limits
    3. create site with specified name

Is it possible to automate this process ?

This is old post, but just wanted to clarify something.
If a client can change some settings for a site that was created by admin. For example - php version. The admin can change the PHP version, the client can see the options but clicking "Save" button is not updating the value.
If you have 1-2 clients with 2-3 site, that's fine, admin can be contacted and settings modified. The problem is having many websites.
So the question is - is there possibility to give that ability back to the client?

By default, clients are not limited in that way. The functions are only limited when the admin decides that he wants to limit access by creating the website as admin user directly and not using the login as client function or letting the client create the site. It has been explained in several threads in the forum how to remove the limit in the DB in case you activated it by accident, you have to change the sys_perm_group setting from 'ru' back to 'riud' and change the sys_userid of the record from admin to the sys_user of the client.
