i was wondering if i can setup two domains i.e. ip, ip and point them to the same document root via ispconfig. I want to setup a multistore application i.e. prestashop and have different ips for each store. If i had only one ip i could add a ServerAlias directive. I do not think apache will mind if i add the configuration manually but i will not be able to customize through ispconfig. The reason of not having one ip is regarding possible SEO issue. Sites will have completely different content though.

Two websites can not use the same docroot in ispconfig. You can have multiple domains on one website, but they will use the same IP.

having more then one website on a IP is normal today, so I doubtthat there will be seo issues when the content of the shops is different.
