    Hi,

I've recently set up from a fresh install my server by following "The Perfect Server 12.04.2" guide. I didn't change anything other than my domain name as it used "server1.example.com". Other than that it's pretty much self explanatory.

Let me begin with the fact that my server is on my home connection in the DMZ Zone so it's available to anything on the internet. The issue i'm having is getting mail to send to my server as sending mail from my account made in ISPConfig e.g "test" to my gmail works fine and I can receive the email. Replying to that email is a different story. It simply fails.

The log from gmail is (Changing my domain name to example.com for other reasons):

    Code:
This is the mail system at host server1.example.com.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

                       The mail system

    <[email protected]>: unknown user: "crash"

    Final-Recipient: rfc822; [email protected]
    Original-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected]
    Action: failed
    Status: 5.1.1
    Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; unknown user: "crash"
As far as the logs say anything, I've checked them and no errors seemed to be stated in there.

    Any ideas?

There seems to be a postfix configuration error. Download ispconfig tar.gz again, unpack it and run the update.php script in the install folder and choose to reconfigure services during update.
