    Hi guys:
I have installed without problems ISPConfig-2.2.12, I can accede to the control panel and to change my password, the language, etc. But when I want to make changes in the configuration of the server, these don't keep. It is a Javascript error? what can be? some idea? I have reviewed logs:
    tail -F /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/ispconfig.log

I tried reinstalling, but nothing, I cannot change the server settings :(
Another thing, the intrcciones of installation say:
The installer will now compile an Apache with PHP5 that will run on port 81 and is needed by the ISPConfig system itself. It will not interfere with your existing Apache installation so you can go on unworried.
Nevertheless, my old apache, was left without support php, some idea?
    it will be the version?

Yes, thats exactly what the above message says. You must install PHP for your apache by installing the PHP packages from your linux distribution. Please have a look at the perfect setup guides, you will find them on the ISPConfig documenation page.

ok, the php disadvantage was solved, which happened is that, ISPConfig adds him configuration at the end of the /etc/apache/httpd.conf file and when finalizes its intalaciĆ³n tries to reinitiate apache who has a syntax error and in my case it was left without support php. (
I had made an attempt copy my old configuration of /etc/apache/httpd.conf as a test ).
Nevertheless, I follow with the disadvantage of the server settings.

The ISPConfig configuration must be included at the end of your httpd.conf file, if you want to use ISPConfig, you will have to add it again. By the way, ISPConfig shall only be installed on empty servers and not on servers where you run already any websites.

    yea, I have read...
"Important: ISPConfig is meant to be installed on new Linux installations with no web sites, so if you run a server with hundreds of web sites and need a control panel that can take care of those existing web sites, then ISPConfig is not for you!"
..., and Im very conscientious of it, the subject is because I cannot make changes in the server settings and nevertheless I can change to things like the language and password?
    Some idea?

Do not install the mysql dump manually. ISPConfig will not work then, that's why I asked! The same problem happens when you try to install ISPConfig in a existing database or withy a mysql user that has no root priveliges.

Make sure that there exists no mysql database with the name you choose for ISPConfig before you install ISPConfig and that the mysql user has the priveliges to create databases.
