    Hey,

I installed ISPConfig 3.0.4.1 on a new Ubuntu 11.10 server.

And I have a strange problem:

    Let's say I have 2 ips 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2.
And I have two domains: example1.com and example2.com.
example1.com is the main domain for the server.
    ns1.example1.com points to 1.1.1.1 and ns2.example1.com points to 2.2.2.2.

I have a forum which is hosted like this: forum.example1.com
I added the forum.example1.com as a website (not a sub-domain or anything) and the dns record points to 1.1.1.1.

The problem is that if I type: www.example1.com, it goes to the forum.
If I type, ns1.example.com it goes to the forum.
If I type ns2.example.com it goes to example2.com which is hosted on 2.2.2.2 ip.

We also have a mail server so mail.example1.com points to the forum as well.

How can I avoid it happening? or what did I do wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    btw.

    http://mail.ispconfig.org/
looks like it happens here too. it goes to a website on a "mail" sub-domain that i'm sure no one added as a website.

What did you select in the Auto-Subdomain field of the forum website in ISPConfig?

    In auto-subdomain I selected www.

Another update is that I added a new subdomain additionally to forum to test something (aka. blabla.example1.com) and what happend is that instead of going to the the forum now, all that stuff goes to the new subdomain.

I "fixed" the www.example1.com going to the forum by selecting www as auto-subdomain for example1.com. but mail.example1.com and ns1.example.com still goes to the new sub-domain I added.

    any ideas?
