Specify Subdomains included in a Website Letsencrypt Certificate

Discussion in 'Feature Requests' started by cassola-enterprises, Jul 25, 2016.

  1. Hi,
I hope this is truly a non-duplicate feature request, if not I am sorry.

I wanted to use Wordpress's Multisite feature which creates 'new' WP installations in subdomains.
I ran into certificate issues as of course only the domain specified in the website making screen was included (+www.).
Would it be possible to make a line where you put in the hosts you want to include in the certificate under the checkbox for let's encrypt?

    Thanks! :)

This feature exists already,it is called a subdomain. A subdomain gets added automatically to the website and to the letsencrypt certificate of that website.
  3. Okay, thanks. :)
  4. Thank you very much but it seems it does not work...
Do I have to do some specific steps or follow a order?
I made the subdomain before I installed multisite.

Maybe you dont habe the latest ISPconfig git-stable version installed?

  6. I have the Beta 2 installed. How do I update (savely) to the dev version?
    Thanks! :)

Edit: Thanks I figured it out: just run
ispconfig_update.sh in the command line as root
    and then choose git-stable.
I'll post again if it still doesn't work.
Thanks a lot so far! :)

All ISPConfig updates get installed with ispconfig_update.sh, you should choose "git-stable" as option there to saty in the beta branch until ISPConfig 3.1 gets released.
    cassola-enterprises likes this.
  8. Update was successful!
I now use the dev version.
I removed the subdomain and made it again.
Still no luck with being included in letsencrypt cert..
