Is it possible to remove that symlink in /var/www?

    If you check /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/domain.tld

    you'll see:

    DocumentRoot /var/www/domain.tld/web
and even more references to that symlink.

Do you mean the symlink to the ispconfig controlpanel interface or the symlinks to the website directories?

The symlink to the ispconfg interface (/var/www/ispconfig) can be removed. The symlinks to the websites cant be removed as Mark_NL explained.

symlink to ispconfig interface /var/www/ispconfig. All I want is to remove this, I don't want people around playing with automatic scripts pointing to /ip/ispconfig xD

    Thanks both of you!
