during the upgrade of ubuntu the vhosts file and apache conf files have be rewritten, so apache dosent see the ispconfig virtual hosts file anymore which is still on the server where it should be.

If I upgrade or reinstall ispconfig will the links be rebuilt or will I loose the sites?

Please help I am at my wits end and can not find a sollution

    mysql directive

apache is now using the virtual host file from ispconfig but mysql is still not available via the website.

I think that there is a directive to include a file from ispconfig but I cannot find the file that it should reference.

mysql is working and I can aproach it with phpmyadmin from inside ispconfigs controll pannel

can someone please tell me the extrad directive that belongs in /etc/mysql/my.cnf

or any other ideas as to how I can solve this problem when I aproach a php page on my www server I get the following error

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111

is there a problem with php.ini and does this need to be edited to work with ispconfig?
