I have a recent freshly installed version of Debian/IS Config.

    Debian 7.2

Setting up the websites, emails and FTP seem sot be pretty straight forward.

The first website I am transferring to the server is on written (at least partially) in Ruby on Rails.

I get to the first page, with is just an image, with 2 buttons (French or English).

Regardless if I choose French or English, I get the same error:

    Application error
Rails application failed to start properly

I have not modified anything on the server up until this point. So, being a fresh instal, does not know what might be causing Rails not to start properly?

Thanks for any hints, clues or ideas.

Have you installed rails on the server? This is not done during a normal fresh install for ISPConfig 3 servers.

I was under the impression that Ruby was installed, since it is offered as a option in ISPConfig.

We are working on installing it, but are having problems because certain packages will not download. We find them on the repository, but when trying to get them from the command line, it cannot find them! :(

    Bad luck.

    We will keep looking.

    Thanks for your help.
