I'm not quite sure if this is the right place or Programming/Scripts maybe.
Anyway, I got a problem with my different login names. For me, every user login is user.domain not [email protected] Problem is now that the emailadress in roundcube is [email protected] instead of [email protected] If I use [email protected] for login names, the emailadress in roundcube is also correct. Now [email protected] can't send emails. Does anyone know, where I can set ISPConfig to use the mailadress from the database instead of login, when adding the user in roundcube database? I considered changing the value via a script, but this would have to be done for every new user and I'd like a clean solution.

    Best regards,

ISPConfig is not settings anything in Roundcube., so the problem is about Roundcube only and not related to the use of ISPConfig on your server. When you use something that is not an email address as login name in roundcube, then you have to set the sender address for this account in roundcube once as roundcube is not able to guess the sender address automatically based on the login name.

Thank you for your quick reply. As far as I understand Roundcube gets the login name from ISPconfig and sets the sender address accordingly if it isn't set manually? Do you happen to know where roundcube has the algorithm for creating the sender address from login? I could change it, so even when the login name is user.domain sender address will replace the "dot" with an "at".
