Restoring my server

    When I took a snapshot, everything was humming along nicely.

    When I restored from the same snapshot, my sites were not loading.

    It seems that the data was intact. I could FTP and SSH and access ISPconfig3.

    The settings and the database seem to be in working order so I think something went wrong with ISPconfig3.

    I tried re-syncing and that did not work. I tried to manually look at the virtual hosts. No effect.

    Do you have any kind of experience with this? The worst problem to have is when everything look like it's okay.

    I've narrowed it down to the virtual host file of my man site in /var/www/clients/client5/web11/web

    All of the other sites are working well.

    http://ellatinodigital.com/ appears to be going to the Apache default page in /var/www despite the fact that the host file look like:

    Code:
    <Directory /var/www/ellatinodigital.com>
         AllowOverride None
         Order Deny,Allow
         Deny from all
    </Directory>

    <VirtualHost *:80>
               DocumentRoot /var/www/ellatinodigital.com/web

    Is there something wrong with this?

    Is there anything else I can do share to get light on this issue?

    It is definitely sending traffic to the web root.

    How do I fix this through ISPconfig3?

    Figured it out. It was a problem with the hostname. The hostname was identical to the domain I wanted so we force the domain to the root.
    Everything was set up correctly so the solution came down to reflecting on the differences between the 2 snapshots.
    Stare at a problem long enough and you'll figure it out.
