I have done a first installation (successful I think) but I want to make some adjustments in the SSL cerificates information.

    1. Is it ok to unpack the installation files again an run the setup again and the installation will overwrite the previous installation?

    2. How is updates of ISPConfig handled?

If you just want to change the SSL certificates, you dont have to reinstall. Try this instead:

Download the latest installer and run the setup script, the installer detects your currently installed version and updates it.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I was a little to quick (sadly?). I dropped the DB and executed the setup again but got problems (of course). Moved the directory "/root/ispconfig" and tried again and it seems to worked.

But I have a small thing...
In ISPConfig -> Management -> Server -> Settings I try to set the domain, IP, etc but when hitting save it redirects to the Management front screen and nothing was saved. Why?

This happens if the databse has not been installed correctly, have you inserted the SQL-dump manually? This wont work.

Please delete the folders /root/ ispconfig, /home/admispconfig and the ISPConfig mySQL database and instal ISPConfig again. Make sure that no mysql database exists with the name that you choose in the installer for the ISPConfig database.

Thanks. In the first run I didn't remove /home/admispconfig and I think that did it. Now it seems to work (so far :) ). Will continue playing around....thanks again for your fast response
