    Hi all,

I have a little problem with ISPConfig 3 and quota on Ubuntu 10.10 Server x64.

Quota doesn't report correct size of a client folder.

I read on another post that quota is calculated per user.

I think i can resolve my problem by do this command:

    chown -R webX /var/www/clients/clientsX/webX/web

But i don't know if this command is safe or if it's clean to make this on a production server.
Anyone have this problem and how resolv it cleanly.

    Thanks for your help.

    Sorry for my poor English...

This command is safe. All files in the web folder has to be owned by the web user and the client group of this website. You should then check your php settings, most likely you run php in a wrong mode, so that the files are not owned by the web user. As php mode, use php-fcgi and enable suexec in the website settings.

    Thanks for your answer.

I have run this command and quota is now correctly reported.

I have also found the reason of different owner for this site, it's because i have transfered file via Winscp as root, so all file is own by root.

I have also chown the stats folder with root:root to have the same configuration for all site.

To summarize, i have correct my problem with:

    1)run chown -R webX:clientY /var/www/clients/clientY/webX/web
    2)run chown -R root:root /var/www/clients/clientY/webX/web/stats

Thank you for your quick answer!
