Hi all, I followed these howto:

1 The Perfect Server - Debian Lenny (Debian 5.0) With BIND & Dovecot [ISPConfig 3]

2 How To Run Your Own Name Server With ISPConfig 3 And Fast Hosts

About the second howto I'd like to configure my own name server but I have some doubts:

I have 1 static ip address (public) assigned me from my isp to the wan interface of my router. On my lan I have a Debian server with a private IP address of Can I make it working my own name server (howto 2) anyway?

I hope I made myself clear

Yes, but probably you can run just one nameserver because most registrars don't accept two nameservers with the same IP. That means you will have to host a secondary nameserver somewhere else (or pay someone to do it).
