    Hi,

I have setup with this VM image https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial...l-pureftpd-bind-postfix-doveot-and-ispconfig/
All of emails sent from my server to comcast.net email get instantly rejected.
    In mail.log I have this:
    Code:
    Feb 7 16:18:09 debian postfix/qmgr[1609]: 65D873433AC: from=<[email protected]>, size=1998, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Feb 7 16:18:09 debian postfix/smtp[2943]: 65D873433AC: host mx1.comcast.net[96.114.157.80] refused to talk to me: 554 resimta-po-22v.sys.comcast.net resimta-po-22v.sys.comcast.net 66.70.XXX.XXX found on one or more DNSBLs, see http://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#BL000010
Feb 7 16:18:09 debian postfix/smtp[2943]: connect to mx1.comcast.net[2001:558:fe16:1b::15]:25: Network is unreachable
Feb 7 16:18:09 debian postfix/smtp[2943]: 65D873433AC: host mx2.comcast.net[68.87.20.5] refused to talk to me: 554 resimta-ch2-14v.sys.comcast.net resimta-ch2-14v.sys.comcast.net 66.70.XXX.XXX found on one or more DNSBLs, see http://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#BL000010
Feb 7 16:18:09 debian postfix/smtp[2943]: connect to mx2.comcast.net[2001:558:fe21:2a::6]:25: Network is unreachable
    Feb  7 16:18:09 debian postfix/smtp[2943]: 65D873433AC: to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=13050, delays=13050/0.02/0.5/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to mx2.comcast.net[2001:558:fe21:2a::6]:25: Network is unreachable)
Which shows that my server IP is blacklisted and I completed form http://csi.cloudmark.com/reset-request/ but I'm still getting same rejects. What got me wondering if my mail server is configured properly is this section in the above rejection log refused to talk to me: 554
On the bottom of http://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#BL000010 for error code 554 it shows:
I've read here on the forums and tried reading ISPconfig guide pg. 239 but still have trouble how to test if I have setup PTR correctly and how to set it up :)
    Any help is much appreciated!

Is the mail server located in a datacenter or do you rn it in home or at office?

The PTR record has to be setup in the dns server that is responsible for the IP address, that is normally not your ISPConfig server, it is the dns server of the provider that assigned you the IP. Contact them and ask them to set the ptr for you on their server.

    Thanks for the reply!
Yes, mail server is hosted in a datacenter. I will contact them and hopefully its a simple fix on their side :)

This is really odd because the issue still remains and no one with Comcast email does not get email from my domain! Here's their response:

    My hands are tied :(
