The traffic limit is applied nightly when the statistics are created. You have to wait until the site gst deactivated.

I did not understand the part of:
You have to wait Until the site gst deactivated

Apparently if you are limited to clients in a group
    1 MB disk quota (test)
    Traffic share 2 MB (test)

Any customers from your account can edit your account limits on FTP
    without limitations. :( help please!

No, they cant if you have not allwed them to do that. If you create a website as admin user for a customer, then the customer cant edit any settings of this site.

The ftp quota is a internal quota that can be set by the client himself, it is a feature that the client can optionally limit the uploads of its ftp users. Values that are larger then the quota of the website are ignored as the linux filesystem driver blocks the uploads then. The client can not upload more then the limit that is set in the web quota. if this does not work on your server, then then quota is not installed properly on the partition that contains /var/www in /etc/fstab

    hi till
    my config

    Code:
    [email protected]:~# vi /etc/fstab
    /dev/xvda1 / ext3 defaults,usrjquota=aquota.user,grpjquota=aquota.group,jqfmt=vfsv0 0 1
    /dev/xvda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
    proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

    run
    Code:
    [email protected]:~# mount -o remount /
    mount: permission denied
    [email protected]:~# quotacheck -avugm
quotacheck: Cannot find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota option.
    [email protected]:~# quotaon -avug

if my server is limited in what happens is that the customer can modify the boundaries of client-FTP

A working filesystem quota is required if you want to limit the size of websites, thats not just related to FTP. If your filesystem quote does not work, youur clients can upload as many content as they like trough their websites.

Is your server hosted in a datacenter? Then you should contact that datacenter and ask them why quota can not be enabled on your server.

if that option is not enabled the limiter does not work?

The demo is not a full ispconfig installation, so you can neither upload files in the demo nor has the demo any kind of quotas as it does not host sites nor clients.

If disk quota is not enabled, then you can notlimit the space of websites, ftp etc. the fields are visible in the interface but they will not work as the quota values does not get stored on theharddisk. Fix your quota configuration and you will be able to limit the size of a client in the website settings. You always post screenshots of the FTP user,, ut thats not relevant for the limit, the limit is set in the website. I explained that in your other post already.
