    I've a website www.domain.tld (there is no a domain.tld website)

This website has a subfolder "/updater"

I need an address "updater.domain.tld" with this feature
    - points to www.domain.tld/updater/
    - url must not change in the folder

What do I need to create? A subdomain or an alias ?

I cannot create a subdomain, because it will create update.www.domain.tld, but it's not what I want, and this require a SOA for www zone, and this is not good, I need updater.domain.tld

Normally you coul;d create a Sub-Domain at your Domain Registra for free. That should working as you want if you also create a A Record for that Sub-Domain pointing to your public IP used.

You cannot create a subdomain without www. when your main domain is with www. and there is no website without www.

Try using aliasdomain feature. Set Redirect path to /updater/ and Redirect type to "no flag".
