Problem after Reboot

    Hi there!

    I installed ISPConfig with your Howto. After rebooting the machine it doesnt come up. Support means, that the Apache 1 needs a SSL-Password? What did i do wrong?

    Problem is now, that i cant reboot the Server without help from the Support. BTW, i dont have a go @ the moment, because we dont know which password we have to enter...

    Any suggestions?

    You probably created a passphrase for the private key used by the webserver, which means that now your key is encrypted and each time it will be used (e.g. on the startup of Apache) the passphare must be entered.
    Just decrypt the key and store it unencrypted, or create a new, unencrypted one (don't enter a password when asked). Then also make sure the permissions are set to 0600 root only.

    The problem is, that you have chosen to encrypt your SSL key during ISPConfig setup. Please have a look at the installation instructions, you will have to chose "n" when you are asked if the key shall be encrypted.

    To solve this, please create a new SSL cert as described here:

    Thank you for your fast Answers. Next Problem:

    ISPConfig seems not to run after the Reboot. I cant access the ISPC. Site...

    Where do i have to look?
