    Hello,

I have installed ipsconfig 3 with postfix. In /var/log/mail.info there is

    Code:
postfix/smtpd[9835]: lost connection after CONNECT from localhost[127.0.0.1]
    May 16 14:45:01 vps1 postfix/smtpd[9835]: disconnect from localhost[127.0.0.1]
    May 16 14:50:01 vps1 postfix/smtpd[9917]: connect from localhost[127.0.0.1]
    May 16 14:50:01 vps1 postfix/smtpd[9917]: lost connection after CONNECT from localhost[127.0.0.1]
    May 16 14:50:01 vps1 postfix/smtpd[9917]: disconnect from localhost[127.0.0.1]

What I researched, it can be some ispconfig automatic mechanism to check if postifix alive, but i don't know where i can disable it. Any reply idea ?

You can disable the ispconfig monitor by running:

    rm -f /usr/local/ispconfig/server/mods-enabled/monitor_core_module.inc.php

Please be aware that no data in the ispconfig monitor will get updated afterwards.

Postfix is checked every 5 minutes. Checking it less often makes no sense for a monitoring system.

3 short lines every 5 minutes shall create a huge logfile? How many gigabytes does the file has on your server?
