    Hi,
I'm trying to set up a mail server on my Mac with Dovecot and Postfix. When I try to Telnet to my SMTP, I get this:
    Code:
    Trying XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX...
    Connected to daytimetech.tk.
    Escape character is '^]'.
421 4.3.2 All server ports are busy
    Connection closed by foreign host.
I don't know what this means. Meanwhile, in Console:
    Code:
    9/21/11 9:16:31.344 PM postfix/postscreen: CONNECT from [192.168.11.1]:60133
    9/21/11 9:16:31.344 PM postfix/postscreen: PASS OLD [192.168.11.1]:60133
9/21/11 9:16:31.344 PM postfix/postscreen: warning: cannot connect to service private/smtpd: Connection refused

Can someone help me to ID whats wrong?
    Thanks,
    Sam

Can you post your /etc/postfix/master.cf? Maybe your Postfix is running chrooted, and that might cause the problem.

Sory for such a late reply, but I've been busy all day...
    But here's my master.cf

    Code:
    #
    # Postfix master process configuration file. For details on the format
    # of the file, see the master(5) manual page (command: "man 5 master").
    #
    # Do not forget to execute "postfix reload" after editing this file.

    # Modern SMTP clients communicate securely over port 25 using the STARTTLS command.
    # Some older clients, such as Outlook 2000 and its predecessors, do not properly

Hm, no process us running chrooted, so that's not the problem. Unfortunately I have no other idea... :(
