Postfix Mail Q

    Hi All,

    My ISPConfig 2 Server has packed up and i have decide to make it time to change (Not Upgrade) to ISPConfig 3.

    I still have mail in the postfix Q that needed to be scanned for spam. How will i be able to copy those mail accross from old server to new server??

    Please give me steps as i'm a new linux user

    PS, Sorry for posting under ISPConfig 2 - I wanted to post under ISPConfig 3

    I dont think that it is possible to copy these mails over. The ispconfig 3 mail system works different and I dont think that the will get scanned if they are copied.

    You will have to scan them in ispconfig 2 and then copy over the files in the maildirs of the users.

    Hi Till,

    Thanks for the reply. I still would like to give it a try.
    Both my servers are in the same server room. I would like to copy the mail queue from the old server to the new server.

    1. Where can i find the mail queue folder?
    2. Where are the mail dir for the users on ISP2 & ISP3.

    Somewhere in the /var/spool/postfix folder.
    For ISPConfig 2, Maildir is in the homedir of a user.
