Hey everyone just installed ISPConfig and everything is working except my emails.

when i create an email alias in the control panel it adds the file USERNAME to /var/mail/USERNAME but dose not add a Maildir folder to /var/www/web1/ i am not entirely sure if it is supposed to so just letting you know.

But when i send emails to [email protected] they just go no where lol, i don't get a reject email or anything not even if i send an email to a fake [email protected]

But even if i send an email to [email protected] the USERNAME file in /var/mail stays empty. So i don't know where the info is going...

Have you enabled the maildir checkbox in ISPConfig under management > server > settings?

Do you have a website on this server that has a catchall email address? Are the emails maybe sent to this catchall address?

Which messages do you get in the mail log when you sent a email that seems to disappear?
