    Apparently php5-fpm does not get killed correctly when used as;

    /etc/init.d/php5-fpm reload
    ISPConfig uses that command to refresh when needed, which result in 500 server errors every time you change a related configuration

    I found that this command does not have that problem.

    /etc/init.d/php5-fpm restart
    so I edit /usr/local/ispconfig/server/plugins-available/ and change every invocation of

    I'm running the latest Ubuntu 12.04, the latest PHP55 from with the latest ISPConfig.

    You should report that to, as a reload is the correct command to reload the configuration and it works fine with the php packages from Ubuntu.
