    Migration problems...
I'm moving a container from node to node and when the old node cleanup comes a problem appears...

What could prevent root from removing these folders?

    Run:

    chattr -i /media/data2/private/119/var/www/clients/client72/web423

before you try to remove the folder.

    :)
There are hundreds of those folders. I can try that but I think I'm actually looking for a solution to delete the entire OpenVZ VM from the old node.

Unfortunately I did not find a solution for this so I had to format the entire HD on the host server.

Using chatr command is a good solution from security perspective.
Using chatr command is a terrible solution from hosting perspective.

Disable folder protection under System > server config > web. Then go to tools > resync and apply the chnage to all websites on your server.

Thx, Till. I will disable the security temporarily when I have to move ISPconfig VM's.
Then enable chatr after the move.

Just to clarify... Did you mean the "Set folder permissions on update" setting?
