Perfect Ubuntu Installation Problems

    Hi All

    I'm Running Ubuntu Server 5.10 Breezy Badger and trying to Complete The ISP Server Tutorial from Howtoforge now i'm having trouble with ncftp when i try to run this installation of this


    apt-get install binutils cpp cpp-4.0 fetchmail flex gcc gcc-4.0 libarchive-zip-perl libc6-dev libcompress-zlib-perl libdb4.3-dev libpcre3 libpopt-dev linux-kernel-headers lynx m4 make ncftp nmap openssl perl perl-modules unzip zip zlib1g-dev autoconf automake1.9 libtool bison autotools-dev (in 1 Line!!)

    and this is how my /etc/apt/sources.list

    i removed NCFTP from the top installation and carried on and got to page 5 of the tutorial now i'm stuck on

    apt-get install proftpd proftpd-common ucf

    and get E: couln't find package prodftpd and i kind figured that these work hand in hand!!!!!

    Please can you help!

    Did you run
    Code:
    apt-get update
    after you changed /etc/apt/sources.list?

    Are you sure you didn't make any typos when you tried to install proftpd?

    I've checked and absolutely no typos

    Then either Ubuntu has changed its repositories for 5.10, or there is some kind of error during your setup... :confused:
