Great tutorial, however, on step 14, You are instructed to edit (vi /etc/mysql/my.cnf) and comment out (#) the line (bind-address =

Problem: This line appears nowhere in the file.

Therefore I am stuck with the following:

    tcp 0 0 localhost.localdo:mysql *:* LISTEN 15625/mysqld
    [2]+ Exit 127 etc/mysqld_safe --user=mysql

Which results in localhost as the bound address, yes? Not what I want.

    Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

Did you scroll down? I think that line is below the fold.

My apologies for being so stupid! Figures it was something so simple.

Thanks VERY much for the reply.
